We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “Unable to Attend,” so we can plan accordingly.

There will not be a registry for this union. Only monetary gifts are excepted

Based on years past, September is one of Virginia’s breezy/warm months. Prepare for the weather to be warm so dress cool. Bring a light jacket if you prefer.

Yes, the entire wedding will be hosted indoors ceremony at the E. Ray Cox Convocation Center and reception venue (location invite only)

YES!! Both locations are stand along buildings and parking is free to guest

We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes to an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time, and we can get the ceremony started as scheduled.

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the children at home so you can celebrate with us.

Yes...Additionally, there will be vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and special diet options. There will also be a cash bar available for our guests.

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #SlippingIntoSims, #ItstheSims4me so we can keep track of all of your pictures!”

We can’t wait to have all of our favorite people together in one place! With the current guidelines in mind, we do encourage you to refrain from handshakes, hugs or other physical contact with any guests outside of your household. We have also created our seating plan in line with the current COVID-19 restrictions to allow adequate space between guests during dinner, and will be seating guests together with their close family and household members.

Yes, it is a requirement for our wedding. We completely understand and respect any guests who may wish to wear a mask on the day. We will be providing masks at the venue for your convenience (or, feel free to bring your own if preferred!).
